Make sure to watch in 1080p so you can REALLY see the plants! Here is a tour of my current houseplant collection. Some are brand new, some are 4 years old, and all are loved! I know it's a long video, but if you're like me, you thoroughly enjoy learning about what plants other people have, how they acquired them, how they take care of them, and any other miscellaneous information. So if you're ...

I'm not TOO surprised by the roots on this plant, but it was still a little overwhelming trying to manage all that plant!

Soak it.It looks happy. It’s going to make it.
How did this fern adapt to her new home?
Enjoyed your video lots of good information to help with my plants. More energy with information and less on drama would be nice.
I have a kangaroo fern & it’s growing well. I put it in a coco pot like yours. On certain plants I have cut some of the bottom of the roots & others I have cut slits like you did. I think it depends on the plant & they’ve all done well. You did a great job on yours. Show us later how it’s growing. Happy planting!!! 12:51
Any update on how this went? I have the exact same plant in the exact same original planter even. I'm going to need to repot it in the summer and was looking for how I should go about that.
Good job! I would trim the dangling green aerial roots.
Thanks for this! But mine was literally 4 times as big as that one, and had maybe 15-20 big hairy roots tangled around the outside of the pot. It took a lot of trimming of those roots (and the fronds growing from them) to make it possible to put it back into a bit larger pot. I'm going to see if the cut roots will grow in a bucket of water and I'll try and start new plants. I, too, love my plant and hope it's ok! Talking to it a lot. :-)
What if I just rescued some of this fern from my grandma and it has NO roots? Only one leave on an arial root? Literally 2 separate small arial roots, with 1 leaf on them each. POOR THINGS I wanna make it work ❤❤❤❤❤❤
HAHAHA whehn I removed mine to another pot iwas in the same dilemma. the roots are so tight and strong, and I was scared to break it but did end up splitting it into two after cleamin the soild with water and spreading it. I got two parts of it
I do have this one and has grown up a lot and it's so shiny and green that I love it so very much
Beautiful ❤
Hellooo Arika. It seems you have uploaded after quite long. I am a new subscriber in love with your Monstera adansonii repot video that you had uploaded before 3 years. Where have you been? How have you been? Also, please make more plant videos 🌿 And as per video context I would choose the Garden Sky ☁️ (If thats that name) 🙏🏻
Where you at?
Thanks for the information. This is really useful as my apartment gets very little sun. I just subscribed to your channel 😊
Some of the plants are leggy. Didn't mention how to prevent getting leggy without full sun.
Nice sharing low cost trellis 👌
I an sorry, but you are cute. There, I’ve said it. Thanks for the info. I will now attempt to repot my kangaroo fern.
In my apartment in southern France I have only south-facing windows, which is why I can only have cactus & succulents. My Crassula ovata (monstruosa, muscosa, ondulatifolia); Kalanchoe tomentosa, daigremontiana; Echeveria (pronounced etcheveria, not eckeveria) of different sorts, all love the blazing sun. They always get "leggy," so you have to behead Echeveria & Aeonium & plant the top in the soil. What's left in the pot will grow multiple heads. My Hatiora salicornioides, which did well for several years (not in the sun), is now yellowing & looking sickly. Which is why I came here, but no answer for my worries! ;-)
It's very pretty❤
Just pulled my fern out and discovered the same issue 😂 what are these greenhouses doing to these poor plants!!
Thank you for the video, going to try now. Great video!
I use a grow light! Ur video was helpful!
Looks 100% better. Good work!
Thank you so much! I am wanting to make my own trellis for my Cissis discolor aka Rex Begonia vine propagations that are ready to pot up! Great video🌿💜🌿 Your plant looks great! 🙏🏽🌿
😍😍😍👍
My echeveria purpusorum and my tiger tooth aloe grow with my haworthias and are very happy under the same conditions.
This is a wonderful design. Simple and cute.👍
Thanks for introducing me to the Euphorbia Trigona....it's going on my Wish list. I just discovered your channel today and subscribed. I hope you make more videos in the near future. You are so talented....I enjoyed watching you make the wooden ring and your handmade succulent pots are pretty cool!
Looks pretty i need to try for my plants thankyou so much
I have a healthy thriving one and decided to buy a discount tragic one from Lowes a while back. It looks like it had been severely underwatered, then drowned. I evened out the watering and trimmed away dead/rotted rhizomes and leaves, but it's not been growing at all. I'm repotting tonight! Wish me luck 🤞
I moved mine exactly how you did and the entire thing just died.... I was so sad
Do you sell your planters online anywhere? <3
Have my materials and ready to go. Appreciate the simplicity of creating this organic trellis! Found the bamboo sticks at Lowes and the floral wire at a hobby shop.
I was about to order this plant. Thanks for your video.
Both of them look great, and your up close video of each step was really helpful. It's good to use vertical space~
This was very helpful because I'm so far north that NJ is south! New Hampshire. I haven't wanted to think about my new succulents in 6 months when daylight ends at 4pm. Your Zebra is gorgeous, and I've noted your recommendations of jades, string of pearls, euphorbia briar patch, and the rhipsalis cactus. My 7or 8 plants are very small, I've had them only about 2 months, and I don't know their names except for one I think is a sedum and another is Haworthia. They're in a south window in the AM and I move them to west window in mid afternoon for a few more hours of sun. I may need to look into grow lights later. I'm happy that all have new growth. Another succulent site recommended Gasteria for low light; stiff upright leaves.
Eu tenho a monstera acho linda
Great idea. It looks natural as well as pretty.
素晴らしい。
How is this Kangaroo Paw fern doing now?
it’s huge and happy!
Holy shit
Great job! Did it survive?
How do you propagate this type of plant?
I love succulents. I have mine under grow lights and they still get leggy. In the spring I behead them and stick them in dirt they keep their shape outside in the shade or sun and get bright colors. It’s the perfect time to make pretty arrangements that last all summer. I’m in NY.
That monstera adisonii is absolutely stunning
Lovely Plants you've got , thank you for sharing .
Looks gorgeous in the coconut husk basket, but it's going to dry out very easily. You could place it in a larger bowl shaped plastic pot and then set it inside your coconut husk basket...? Oh well...it's early 2021...I'm sure you've moved on by now!
haha. it did dry up very quickly but I thought it wouldn’t mind since it naturally grows with very little dirt. but I recently repotted it into a plastic hanging pot because it was drying too quickly, and I think it’s appreciating the extra soil and moisture.
So beautiful!!!!
Thank you!!
I also hv big giant adansonii at my home😂😂😂 check it out guys on my channel
